Dave Kowert
Founder and Principal
Dave Kowert practices what he preaches. An experienced sailor, Dave has an enviable winning record as racing tactician and currently competes in over 30 races per year. With a masters degree in Film and Television Direction, he spent 17 years as a creative professional working for some of the biggest companies in Hollywood, Chicago and New York.
As a Business Professional, he has managed large SAP/ASAP technology implementation teams, led a nationally recognized Knowledge Management Practice for a large technology firm and served as a "C" Level business consultant to many Fortune 1000 companies. In 2001 he moved to Charleston SC to become the president of Politics Online, a position he held for 8 years.
In addition to his leadership role with NEXT TACK Consulting, Dave is a founding member of Terraview Partners, LLC and a Board Member of nVolve Technologies, Inc an Austin TX based company that produces high tech residential building wall and roofing systems. Non-business activities include sitting on the Boards of various "arts" organizations in Charleston SC and serving as Commodore of The Charleston Yacht Club.
